UniAtlas was born in Singapore, during the chaos of IB Year 2. Our founder, Nishya Subash Prabu — a student living through the spreadsheet era herself — decided there had to be a better way.
The story behind UniAtlas
Every student knows the feeling: juggling deadlines for UCAS, Common App, local universities, scholarships, and entrance exams — all while keeping up with the final year of school. And on top of that, keeping parents in the loop without the constant back-and-forth.
We saw students using spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups, and sticky notes to track it all. One missed deadline could mean a lost opportunity. That's not fair — not to the student, and not to the family supporting them.
So we built UniAtlas: a single, always-up-to-date plan that turns the messy 18-month journey from “I'm thinking about medicine” to “I've accepted my offer” into something calm, clear, and collaborative.
Meet the founder
Nishya Subash Prabu
Founder, UniAtlas
Nishya Subash Prabu is Head Girl (2025–26) at ACS (International) School, an IB Diploma scholar, and a student leader passionate about educational access, youth mentorship, and public health. Having navigated both Singapore's local school system and international curricula, she founded UniAtlas to demystify tertiary pathways and give students free, transparent guidance through the university admissions maze.
Alongside driving UniAtlas's product vision and student outreach, Nishya maintains an outstanding record in academics, debate, and community leadership. She won the Dialogic Academy Debate Championships and has represented her school internationally at the World Scholar's Cup in Bangkok, the Tournament of Champions at Yale University, and Model UN conferences including The Hague. She serves as Chapter President of the ACS (International) Red Cross Youth chapter, and was named Overall Winner in the Tertiary category at the Young Trailblazer Competition. She brings together innovation, public speaking, and community leadership as she prepares for a future career in medicine.
Our mission
We don't replace UCAS or Common App. We replace the spreadsheet, the WhatsApp group, and the 3 a.m. “did I register for UCAT yet?” panic. UniAtlas is the coordination layer for the most important 18 months of a young person's life — so students can focus on what matters, not on tracking deadlines.
